Free Wi-Fi and Streaming on Major U.S. Airlines

T-Mobile’s In-Flight Connection offers eligible customers complimentary Wi-Fi and streaming on major U.S. airlines, including Alaska Airlines, select American, Delta, and United flights. With more flights being added soon, this service enhances your in-flight experience, keeping you connected throughout your journey. Eligible T-Mobile plans enable activation of this benefit on flights displaying the T-Mobile logo.

Supported Devices and Airlines

Supported Devices

• Devices introduced after January 2015 are compatible.
• Devices must support Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Calling for the T-Mobile In-Flight service, including sending text messages and receiving One-Time PINs.

Supported Airlines

• Alaska Airlines
• American Airlines (select flights)
• Delta Air Lines (select flights)
• United Airlines
• Some international flights to and from the U.S. on these airlines.

Delta SkyMiles Partnership T-Mobile collaborates with Delta SkyMiles to offer fast, free Wi-Fi to all Delta SkyMiles Members on most Delta flights within the U.S., ensuring passengers stay connected.

Pre-Flight Setup

Before boarding, ensure:

1. You have an active and eligible T-Mobile plan, such as Go5G Next, Go5G Plus, Go5G, Magenta, or Magenta MAX.
2. Log in to your account on the T-Mobile app or T-Mobile.com to review your benefits.
3. Ensure your device supports Wi-Fi Calling.
4. Complete e911 address registration.
5. Make at least one call using Wi-Fi Calling with the device and SIM card.
6. Ensure your device software is up to date.

Using T-Mobile In-Flight Connection

To use T-Mobile In-Flight Connection:

1. Place your device in Airplane mode and turn on Wi-Fi.
2. Enable Wi-Fi Calling.
3. Select the airline’s Wi-Fi network.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts or use the appropriate URL based on your airline:
   • Alaska: alaskawifi.com
   • American: aainflight.com
   • Delta: deltawifi.com
   • United: unitedwifi.com
5. Enter your T-Mobile phone number to activate the benefit.

Delta SkyMiles Free Wi-Fi Partnership

T-Mobile extends free texting, Wi-Fi, and streaming to all Delta SkyMiles Members, regardless of their wireless provider. This includes access to messaging apps like Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and iMessage. Carrier messaging (SMS, MMS, and some RCS) is not supported.

Starting February 1, 2023, free Wi-Fi for Delta SkyMiles Members is available on most Delta flights with Viasat Wi-Fi, and by the end of 2023, it will cover over 700 Delta aircraft. Non-members can purchase in-flight Wi-Fi for $10. Join Delta SkyMiles for free to enjoy these benefits.
